Day 10

Day 10

Before we even left the hotel in Queenstown, Josh Collis aka Dumpling had already acquired the jumper for asking where to hand the keys in.

We left the hotel and Mr Edwards was in search of a new dobby after realising he had made a huge mistake hiring Martin Delahaye and decided on his new dobby during dobby watch.

After about 15 minutes of the bus journey I sneezed and Mr Edwards quickly realised that there was a large amount of mucus on my shoulder and so I was issued with the late cape.

We came to dobby watch. Brad wasn’t happy with James Wilson over the last couple of days however he stuck with him because he does the little things well. Mr Green was very happy with Ben Malone and controversially described him as being much better than he previous favourite, Waggy. Mr Goodman wasn’t impressed with Sean’s recent performance as his dobby as he woke up late and so he was given the baby costume to wear for the day. Martin was sacked by Mr Edwards because of an over all terrible performance as a dobby and so Mr Edwards had to decide who his new dobby would be. It was between Josh Walton his previous dobby and Matt Brown the rather brilliant tour captain. Josh was a nervous wreck and was deeply saddened when Mr Edwards chose Matt Brown because he had carried his bag for him without being asked.

After a couple of hours on the bus everyone was becoming bored and restless, and so Brandon was called to the front of the coach where hew ruined two potentially funny jokes if anything worsening the mood.

Mr Goodman was tired and sad and so CJ went up to the front of the bus to cheer him up by singing the theme tune to The Fresh Prince of Belair.

For lunch we stopped in a café in McKenzie county, I had cheesy chips for lunch most of which were stolen by James Wagstaff and James Wilson leaving me with a significantly smaller portion of chips.

While we were there we went to a small church which is supposed to be the most photographed church in New Zealand where we had a team photo and we had a team photo next to a statue of a dog with buster sitting on the dog.

The rest of the journey was fairly uneventful and we were an hour early so we went to a shopping centre where I ate some hot pancakes with ice cream.

Everyone was looking forward to meeting our billets, we met them at the rugby club and me and Alex Geach were together for the 6th night in a row. When me and Alex got back to our billets house we were taken on a tour of the area and then we went back to the house where we had a roast dinner and then played Xbox before we went to bed.
