We are well known for our excellent academic standards and have received superb reports from Ofsted. Following our last report we were listed by HMCI as an outstanding school and we have built upon our success by becoming a specialist school with Technology College status. We are also widely known for our achievements in sporting and other fields and especially for the individual concern that we show for each boy. Our mission is to take personal interest in the academic, sporting and social development of every one of our pupils. We combine the values of a traditional grammar school with the most modern resources and curriculum. This enables us to equip boys with the skills and personal attributes necessary to be successful, happy and confident in a fast changing world.

You are most welcome to visit the school and to meet the staff and pupils who create the environment of which we are so proud. Open Evenings take place in the Autumn term and we are also pleased to arrange individual visits during the working day by appointment.
