Please note that the school will close at 3pm today. This is to enable students and staff who walked to school to travel home safely and to assist those parents who, due to bus cancellations brought their sons into school, more flexible collection arrangements. Boys may stay on site until normal closure and will be supervised by staff – however, please see important bus information below. Please note that Heyfordian buses will collect students at 3.15pm. Heyfordian expects all buses to be running (including the 901 which had a problem this morning) along the temporary routes as advised previously. Cape Coaches and Z&S buses will also collect students at 3.15 pm. Z&S bus 902 will attempt to run. Carousel buses WILL NOT run this afternoon. I am pleased to report that all examinations ran successfully today and that the Year 10 English exam at 1.15 pm today WILL be going ahead. By truncating lunch break we were able to offer most students a normal 5 period day. I am grateful to staff , parents and students who work hard to enable to operate as normally as possible in these trying circumstances. Heyfordian buses will try and run their buses this morning, following the same timetables and routes as they have done on Monday and Tuesday.

Although a small amount of snow has fallen overnight the school site is safe and staff and students should travel to school for a normal start assuming it is safe to do so. The snow may have caused further changes to bus routes and these should be advised on the Bucks CC website (http://apps.buckscc.gov.uk/eforms/schools/school_transport.aspx).If you are in any doubt about your school bus route, we advise you to make alternative travel arrangements. External examination candidates in particular should not rely on buses at this time, but make alternative travel arrangements.

The meeting that is due to place tonight, Monday 11th, will take place (6pm) as planned.

Heyfordian - for Monday 11th pm and Tuesday 12th am, Heyfordian buses will be running exactly the same routes as ran Monday 11th am. Carousel - Monday 11th pm, will run the same routes as ran Monday 11th am. Carousel - Tuesday 12th am, there is a hard freeze expected tonight so a decision as to which buses will run will not be made until Tuesday 12th am once road conditions have been assessed.

School will be open to all year groups on Monday. All students who can get in are expected to do so - if you use a school bus in the morning please look at the information on this website regarding the routes that they will be running. School uniform should be worn, however it may be appropriate to wear more sensible shoes for walking through the snow and these will be allowed to be worn in school. There is a possibility of more snow overnight so please keep checking the website for any further updates.
